"But what," badgers a relentless voice, "exactly are you doing out here? What are you accomplishing? What are you getting out of it? And what, oh especially what are you going to do with your life?"

The voice usually stops me. Knocks me down, kicks sand in my face. But this time, finally, I tell the voice to shut up. It's a stupid question, what are you going to do with your life. Setting out to do something with your life is like sitting down to eat a moose. Nobody ever did anything succussfully with their life. Instead they did something with their day. Each day.

Sunrise is birth. Sleep is death. Each day is your life.

Let the moose run. Eat some blueberries.

Whoa, maybe this does work...

So I'm trying a sneaky way of updating the blog because for some
reason, like facebook, China doesn't like blogspot either...

Anyways, just a quick update. Kelly and I are still in China. Right
now we're in Yunnan province making our way up to Tibet (the long way
around). Eventually we'll make it to India hopefully at the beginnig
of February and then Kelly and I part ways.

For my part (to update those friends back home who I've relied on
facebook for contacting and don't have their emails...) I'm flying out
of Bombay on the 25th of February to Brussels, visiting Jesse in the
Netherlands where she'll finishing up teaching English. Then we'll be
quickly making our way across the channel to England and Ireland then
flying back home early March (I know, I know, two months after I had
planned on being back).

On Kelly's part, he's planning on staying in India for a while longer
(who knows how long that will be...) then making his way across
southeast asia to a major port then hopefully find a boat back to
North America.

So that's the update. Hopefully it gets through. Oh, if you want me to
contact you, send me your email address an I'll get back to you
(specifically Aaron and Kevin).

Peace out,

Kyle
